WACKER SILICONES NEWSWACKER SILICONES Showcases New DEHESIVE® Silicone Release Coatings at Labelexpo Americas 2004 WACKER SILICONES will showcase its new DEHESIVE® paper and film coating systems at Labelexpo Americas in Chicago from September 13 to 16. Application highlights include products for film and high speed coating, as well as cost-saving low platinum catalyzed systems. WACKER SILICONES’ high speed product line offers individual, customized formulations that can coat release papers at speeds of up to 1,000 meters/minute and more. Its new HSPC catalyst combines catalytic properties with antimisting effects and is ideal for use with all DEHESIVE® polymers. WACKER SILICONES also has a film-coating product line that offers excellent anchorage to polyester (PET) film, as well as fast curing and good adhesion in the case of polypropylene (PP) film. Labelexpo will also see WACKER SILICONES' new low platinum catalyzed systems, which are based on time-tested DEHESIVE® polymers and new crosslinker grades. This combination significantly reduces the amount of platinum catalyst needed in formulations.
